UConn Reports Bomb Threat To Admissions Building

STORRS, Conn. (CBSNewYork/AP) — The University of Connecticut is asking people to evacuate a building on its Storrs campus in response to a bomb threat.

UConn called for people to evacuate an admissions building on Thursday morning and others on campus to shelter in place.

At 9:50 a.m., the school posted an alert on its website advising any students, faculty and staff who are traveling to the Storrs campus to stay way until further notice.

No further information was immediately available.
